Class 322 C6 contract award 2-06-05 Hunslet-Barclay has been awarded the contract to overhaul 5 Class 322 Multiple Units. The contract design will commence immediately with the first vehicle due on works for design development in the summer. The scope of works includes corrosion rectification, interior upgrades and a reconfiguration of the seating arrangement. Paul Alexander will take the role of Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Manager. Paul has a quality and Environmental background in the automotive industry Class 322 C6x Preferred Bidder Status 5-04-05 Hunslet-Barclay has been selected as preferred bidder to refurbish the Class 322 fleet. The details of the contract are yet to be finalised but are likely to include significant corrosion work and passenger amenity upgrades as well as coded C6 work.
